Our craft
Sixty pairs of hands, one bead at a time
Every Vrikshaka piece starts as raw clay on a worktable in a small studio. Beads are rolled by hand, sun-dried, kiln-fired, then painted and gilded before they are strung on cotton dori. No moulds, no machines — which is why no two pieces are ever quite identical.

“I wore the terracotta jhumka set to my sister's wedding and received so many compliments. They are feather-light — I forgot I was wearing jewellery at all. The antique gold finish looks incredibly rich in person.”

“Vrikshaka's packaging alone made me feel special. But the necklace — it is a work of art. Each bead is slightly different, which makes it feel so personal. I have already ordered twice and gifted a set to my mother.”

“I am quite sensitive to metal jewellery, so terracotta has been a blessing for me. These bangles are so comfortable and the earthy tones go with everything — salwar, saree, even western outfits.”
